Power Farming Northland is looking for an exceptional Dealer Principal to lead our team, grow market share, and deliver an outstanding customer experience across sales, service, and parts. Your impact will be immediate, visible, and deeply valued.

Your Opportunity
As our Dealer Principal, your mission is to lead a thriving dealership that delivers excellence every day—commercially, operationally, and culturally. You’ll be responsible for driving branch performance, ensuring operational discipline, developing your team, and strengthening our presence in the Northland region.

What You’ll Lead & Deliver

  • Lead a High- Performing Team: Drive a motivated, aligned team across sales, service, parts, and admin. Set clear expectations, coach your people, and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability
  • Deliver Strong Commercial Results Hit sales, growth, and profitability targets while keeping overheads tight. Ensure financial accuracy, smart decision‑making, and efficient inventory management
  • Build Exceptional Customer Experiences Strengthen customer loyalty through fast, consistent service and strong relationships across farming, horticulture, and contracting sectors.
  • Keep the branch safe, compliant & running smoothly Lead a safety‑first culture, ensure compliance with all H&S and legal obligations, and proactively manage branch risks.
  • Develop your people & Culture Recruit, onboard, and grow a capable team where people feel valued, supported, and set up to succeed
  • Represent Power Farming in the Community Act as a visible, trusted leader in the local market, building relationships with customers, suppliers, and community partners

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven success leading multi‑functional teams.
  • Strong retail, dealership, or commercial branch leadership experience.
  • Financial acumen (budgeting, forecasting, P&L).
  • CRM and operating system capability, plus comfort with data‑driven decision making.
  • Sales cycle understanding and commercial judgement.
  • Bonus: agricultural machinery knowledge or aftermarket/service background
  • Customer‑first mindset and a passion for long‑term relationships.
  • Commercially savvy with a balanced approach to revenue, cost, quality, and risk.
  • Hands‑on leadership style—present, calm under pressure, and decisive.
