Parts Interpreter (Tractor & Farm Machinery) – Power Farming Taranaki (Hawera)
We’re looking for another strong Parts person to join the team in Hawera.
Our Parts Department already has a solid reputation around Taranaki for knowing the gear and getting the right parts out the door so farmers can keep moving. We’re looking for someone else who takes that responsibility seriously.
What you’ll do
*Parts identification and procurement
*Customer enquiries and Counter Sales
*Managing stock
*Receiving goods
*Staying on top of product knowledge across the
brands we sell
*Communicating with customers, suppliers and the
rest of the team to ensure nothing falls through the cracks
Hours are full-time permanent, with some flexibility to suit seasonal demand (because farming doesn’t run 9–5).

Someone who:
*Gets a kick out of knowing their job helps keep our
customers in business
*Has mechanical aptitude and is happy to learn new
product lines and systems
*Can deal with pressure and stay organised when it
gets busy
*Can sense when something’s urgent and just get on
with it
*Is solid with numbers and admin
*Communicates clearly with customers and the team
*Likes being busy and works well with others
*Understands the difference between being proactive
and reactive
Experience in parts or a mechanical background is useful, but the right attitude and willingness to learn matter more.
What we offer
*Real progression for the right person
*On-the-job training from people who know the
business
*Decent brands and systems to work with
*Competitive pay, benefits, and incentives based on
department performance
*A team that actually works together and backs each
other up
