Yardman – Power Farming Manawatu (Feilding)
Want to

to help keep our machinery and yard in top shape. In this role, you’ll play an
important part in ensuring our machinery and equipment are presented to the
highest standard – ready for sale or repair.

- Stability - this role offers permanent full-time employment working 40 hours per week within our core business days and hours of Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm at our Manawatu branch.

What you’ll do:
- Be responsible for the general upkeep and presentation of new and used machinery stock
- Maintain the overall presentation of the yard, showroom, and buildings
- Assist with loading and unloading freight safely and efficiently
- Prepare demonstration equipment for customer trials
- Greet customers on arrival and direct them to the right team member
- Help set up displays for shows and field days
- Carry out general yard duties and odd jobs as required
- Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe workplace
About
You:
You'll take real pride in your work and machinery itself. You'll be
self-motivated, have excellent problem-solving skills and have a strong work
ethic. You will need:
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills to liaise with people at all levels.
- To be organised and well-presented
- A full driver’s licence
- Forklift License (preferable)
- Wheels, Tracks and Rollers Endorsement (preferable)
- A good level of physical fitness as there is some heavy lifting involved.
